What Is The "Wealth" You Are Creating?

“One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. ‘Which road do I take?’ she asked. ‘Where do you want to go?’ was his response. ‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered. ‘Then,’ said the Cat, ‘it doesn’t matter.” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland WHAT IS THE WEALTH YOU ARE CREATING? If you don't know the wealth you are creating, then what you do and hence what you get will not matter. So, what is wealth to you? Wealth is many things to different people. Wealth can be viewed from the perspectives of • Health • Time • Relationship • Motivation • Heart • Passion • Mind: ideas • Emotion • Lifestyle How rich is your definition of wealth? Does it now include these perspectives? MONEY IS NOT WEALTH Money is an important part of wealth. It is a representation of wealth in modern life. It is not wealth itself. Its usefulness is as the portal to the wealth of mind, ideas, emotion, lifestyle, relationship, heart, creativity, health, energy, motivation and passion. In modern living, money is such a conspicuous representation of wealth to the extent that people confuse money with wealth. They cannot see the wealth beyond the money to the extent that they damage their wealth in the pursuit of money. What would you like to include in your definition of wealth to make it even richer? How much of the wealth that you already have, are you not appreciating because you are not counting it as wealth? Notice how much wealthier you are now, as you enrich your definition of wealth? Does your new definition attract you? Does it feel compelling? M Marzuki Mohamed #insideoutwealth #resilience Photo: I live at the edge of the Kota Damansara Community Forest. I treat it as my own 'Hundred Acre Wood'. I am grateful for the wealth of health in body, mind, heart and spirit that I experience from it. I feel blessed that I'm able to share this forest with my grandchildren, my children, my wife and others.
